Whether you're looking for a new Door, new Door Handles, or both, you first need to choose which door configuration best suits your current or future requirements.

As mentioned in 'Door Configuration' above, we chose 'Single' as our Door Configuration.
If your door is to be hung with hinges on the Right Side, choose 'Hinge on Right' (see diagram at left where indicated by orange arrow).
When you choose Hinge on Right it will flip the door for you automatically.

When you select Hinge on Right the VST will flip the image of the door as shown here. You will only see this effect on doors that are either left or right handed.
There will be no effect on doors that are the same both sides.

| When you choose 'Single' as your Door Configuration (as we have in this instance), you will have access / be viewing only Single Doors in Step 1. (If it's double doors you want, simply click on "Double Doors".) Now, view and click on a Single Door that best fits your requirement, or that you would like to try a handle on. | |

Once you have selected the Single door design you think you want to work with (you can swap them out any time) click on 'Select and Save' (see orange arrow in diagram to the left). The door image will move to the Right Panel, and you are now ready to try on Handles. (If you don't want to continue with your door selection, click on another door in Step 1 and it will supplant former selection.)
NOTE: In order for Handles to SHOW UP, you must first "Select and Save" a Door.

Once you have the Double Door design you think you want to work with (you can change your mind at any time), click on 'Select and Save' (as indicated by orange arrow in diagram at left). The door image will move to the Right Panel and you can now select Handles. NOTE: In order for Handles to SHOW UP, you must first "Select and Save" a Door.

Select a handle (Step 2) by clicking on it - it will automatically appear in "Your Selection Preview" pane (as illustrated by orange arrow in diagram).

| Click on "Side View" button immediately below handle for angle viewing; if you like your selection, click on yellow rectangle outlined in blue "Add to Door". If you don't want this handle, click on another in Step 2 and it will supplant this one. |

Click on handle and move to desired position or, if satisfied with position, disable flashing yellow box by clicking on it.

Door appears in "Your Selection Preview" pane; click on any door in Step 1 and it will replace door in preview position. See Side View by clicking on "Change to Side View". If you like your choice, click on "Select and Save" yellow / blue button.

Door and/or handle appear in Step 3 pane; click "Reset" button found below door in Step 3. Click on another door in Step 1 which will then appear in "Your Selection Preview" pane; if you wish to continue with this selection, click on yellow / blue button "Select and Save". If you do not want this selection, select another door in Step 1 and continue the process.

Below "Your Selection Preview" image, click on "Double Door" or "Single Door" button, then click on "Hinge on Left" or "Hinge on Right" button. Doors in Step 1 will automatically recalibrate to accommodate your choices.

Below image of door or door handle combination appearing in Step 3, click on "Reset" button. See Step 2, bottom, and select configuration desired - click on "Double Door" or "Single Door" button, then click on "Hinge on Left" or "Hinge on Right" button. Once door is clicked in Step 1, it automatically appears in "Your Selection Preview"; to Save, click on yellow / blue button "Select and Save" found lower right. Door moves to Step 3 position and handle choices appear in Step 2. One click on handle moves it to "Your Selection Preview" pane; click on yellow / blue button "Add to Door" found lower right.

Emailing my Selection to Myself, a Friend or Client

Your door and handle combination must appear in Step 3 in order to use "Email Me This Image". There are 2 ways to receive high-resolution images into your email box: 1) Lower right in Step 3 Click on "Email Me This Image" or 2) Lower left in Step 3 Click on "Enlarge Image to Full Screen Size" and in full screen size click on 2nd button from bottom right. You will be prompted to enter name and email address to where image should be sent. You will receive front and side views of your creation.

When a door has been selected and appears in Your Selection Preview pane, you can view it as an architectural drawing by clicking "View as Architectural Drawing" button found below door image.

Step 1 is for selecting a door or uploading a door. If uploading your own door, see instruction for "Uploading My Own Door". Once door is selected, it will appear in Your Selection Preview pane. Lower right of this pane, see flashing yellow / blue box "Select and Save" and click on it. This moves your door selection to Step 3; handles appear in Step 2. Select your handle(s) in Step 2 by clicking on your choice. Handles appear in Your Selection Preview pane. You may change handles to side view by clicking on blue button "Change to Side View" immediately below handles in Step 2. If you like your selection, click on flashing yellow / blue box "Add To Door". If you are not wanting this selection, click on another handle(s) in Step 2 and it will move to Your Selection Preview pane and you may "Add To Door".

See Step 1, bottom of screen, blue box "Upload your door". Click "Upload your door" and you will be able to upload your image from wherever it is stored on your computer. You will be prompted to give the door a name (up to 5 uploaded images can be retained in one session). Select configuration (double or single) and enter height and select "inches". Configuration is important in order to see a "to scale" image. Your uploaded door image will appear in Your Selection Preview pane; below door, click on flashing yellow / blue box "Select and Save" and image moves to Step 3. Step 3 allows you to "Reset"; your door image will be retained in Step 1 for the duration of your session.

From Step 3, you can upload your house or building image. Door and handle combination must appear in Step 3 in order for this function to work. See button "Upload your house image" in Step 3 and click on it. You will be prompted to upload image from wherever it is stored on your computer. Uploaded image will appear on your screen with your door and handle combination superimposed. You can enlarge or shrink door to fit house or building image by selecting buttons lower left of screen "Enlarge" or "Shrink". Once you have the proper sizing, you can click on "Email me this Image". Enter name and email address to where you want high-resolution image to be sent. House or building image will be retained until you log out. You can create different door/handle combinations and add to uploaded image by using "View Combination on Your House" button in Step 3.
